Why are we investing in an Online Community for OHC?

We believe our Online Community is a vital part of what God is doing at OHC! Although we would love to have you physically with us at the church, there are multiple reasons why that is not always possible.  We know some are travelling, do not live in the area, are physically unable to attend, or just prefer to participate online... And that’s fine! We are blessed that the Lord has provided the technology for the online alternative.

Are there any other plans for the OHC Online Community? How can I stay informed?

We believe God is leading us to provide ways as a community to participate remotely in Bible Studies, Life Groups, Meet the Pastors Sessions and other activities that usually take place in a church building.  We would love for you to be a part of these plans.  If you would like to be kept updated on our plans or have any questions or concerns, please send an email to: online@orchardhillschurch.org. What is Live Chat and how can I get involved?

Live Chat is available on both our Church Online and YouTube live streaming platforms. It’s great to jump on and say “Hi” and let us know where you’re watching from.  Our Online Community is growing and having a lot of “regulars” who would love to have you as part of our community!

Live Hosts are also there to greet you and share helpful information about the service and upcoming events, as well as get you answers to any of your questions about the church or connect you with the people or programs you are looking for. We want you to have access to the same information as someone attending the service in person.

Is Someone Available to Pray for Me Online?

Because of the public nature of Live Chat, you may not want to include the specifics of your prayer need in the Public Chat. However, if you are using the Church Online platform our Host can chat directly with you and will be glad to pray for you. We also have Prayer Ministers available who the Host will provide you with eMail contact information for. We’re also working on future enhancements to our online prayer process.
