Hometown: Salem, VA
Family: My husband Larry and I met at Roanoke College. We have three amazing children: Mallory (graduating from W&L in a few weeks and then pursuing a doctorate degree at VCU), Brad (graduating from James River High School in a few weeks and then attending W&L in the fall), and Julianna (currently in the 8th grade at CAMS and then attending James River in the fall).
Education: BA in English from Roanoke College.
Background: I have been a medical writer and editor for more than 25 years, and I have attended Orchard Hills since 2003. During my time at Orchard Hills, I developed a love for planting churches and helped to plant Restoration Church in Salem in 2011 and Rockbridge Church in Lexington in 2014. In 2016, I became the Director of Orchard Hills Day School.
My passion at Orchard Hills: Young people! I love to see children and teens identify their gifts and passions and use them to serve and invest in others.
Something not many people know about me: I have three horses and was a show jumper as a teenager.
