Hometown: Botetourt County, VA.
Education: Lord Botetourt High School (2024), Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Church Ministry & Christian Leadership. Plus a Minor in Business (class of 2027).
Background: I have worked at Orchard Hills Day School for 2 years, starting in 2020 as an assistant teacher and then as the attendance manager for nearly three years. I have volunteered in various video, media, and tech team positions for 6 years here at Orchard Hills. In addition to volunteering for Sunday mornings, I also coordinate/direct Student Praise and Worship for Orchard Hills Student Ministry. And now, I serve as the Video and Media Intern here at Orchard Hills.
My Passion at Orchard Hills: My passion is to be a Disciple who invests my creative gifts to enhance, capture, and communicate what God is doing through Orchard Hills Church for the sake of Eternity.
Something not many people would know about me: I got my first tattoo in the Dominican Republic on a Mission Trip.
Favorite Illustration of Biblical Truth: My favorite illustration of Biblical truth is creativity. God is the Creator of all things; creativity is woven into the very fabric of our humanity. Therefore, we should value and champion creativity as a vital part of our image-bearing role. He made us creative. If we really want to know and practice creativity to its fullest, we should begin where creativity begins. We should begin with God.
